Blood River Crossing Civil drainage
Livingston Parish recognizes the need for ongoing drainage improvements throughout our community. Blood River Crossing on Pea Ridge Road has been a persistent problem area for many years. The current administration has made it a priority to address these drainage challenges parish-wide and entrusted Site Pro Construction to complete this important project. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to improvements right here in our community.
As part of the project, we removed the existing, non-functioning corrugated culverts and cleared and grubbed the pipe ends to accommodate new installations. The existing banks were over-excavated to increase drainage capacity, and new 84-inch reinforced concrete pipes (RCPs) were installed. Riprap was also placed at both the ingress and egress of Blood River Crossing to stabilize and protect the site.
Site Pro Construction would like to thank the public for their patience during temporary road closures, the Livingston Parish inspectors for their professionalism, Premier Concrete Products for material supply, and McLin Engineering for their outstanding design and engineering work. Thank you to dogget machinery & bottom line equipment for our hevy mahcinery needs.
